How to Obtain Iron in V Rising

Iron is a useful resource that can be used in crafting weaponry, equipment, and structures. To farm this mineral, you’ll need to venture across the Dunley Farmlands region, searching for Iron Ore Veins. After farming enough Iron Ore, you’ll need to smelt the mineral in the Furnace to create Iron Ingots, also known as just Iron. These Iron Ingots can be used directly for any recipe requiring the material.

Best Ways to Farm Iron Ore Veins in V Rising

You can find Iron Ore Veins all over Dunley Farmlands in various places. You can also find them in locations like the Cursed Forest. If you go for a stroll, you may be able to find a few veins placed around these areas, but there’s one particular location where you’ll find the most success.

To the central south side of Dunley Farmlands, there’s a place called the Haunted Iron Mine. As the name goes, the Haunted Iron Mine is full of Iron Ore Veins you can farm. As long as the place isn’t contested, you should be able to farm hundreds of Iron Ores. Just be careful though because there are a lot of Undead around the location.

Best Way to Use Iron in V Rising

Depending on your situation, Iron can be used for a lot of things. You can use Iron to craft weaponry like Iron Scythes, Iron Swords, Iron Maces, and more. You can also use Iron to craft equipment from the Duskwatcher, Crimson Templar, Dark Magus, and Blood Hunter sets. But the most useful recipes will likely be structures you can build. For example, you can craft a Gem Cutting Table, Smithy, Castle Throne, and various other incredibly helpful tools using Iron, which will propel your progress forward and give you access to new features.

Sounds pretty neat, doesn’t it? Well, what are you waiting for? Go out and start farming some Iron Ore. For other tips and tricks, check out Best Base Locations in V Rising.
