In order to obtain the “Hang Ten” trophy while web-swinging through the city, you must stop swinging by releasing the R2 button to start falling to the ground. Next, hold the square button and move the analog stick in any direction to make Peter Parker and Miles Morales perform air tricks. You must not touch the ground for 30 total tricks to get the trophy, but you can swing between air tricks. Simply follow this process:

  1. Start web swinging and go as high as you possibly can
  2. Stop swinging, and start falling towards the ground
  3. While falling, hold the Square button and move the left analog stick in any direction to perform “air tricks”
  4. Resume swinging before you touch the ground
  5. Repeat the process until the trophy pops after completing 30 tricks

There are a variety of air tricks in the arsenal of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. For example, holding square and pressing the analog stick up will cause Spider-Man to do a “front pike” move, while holding the stick to the side will initiate a “turtle spin,” and positioning the stick downward will cause Peter and Miles to backflip. You don’t have to perform 30 different tricks to obtain the trophy and the aerial maneuvers also provide a small XP bonus, meaning that it is a good idea to attempt some nifty moves anytime while swinging through New York.

The best way I personally found to obtain this trophy was by launching high into the air and swinging in a more open area in the city, where Spider-Man won’t run into enemies or smash into congested buildings.

To obtain the trophy as quickly as possible, swing high into the air, then perform as many aerial tricks as possible before nearing the ground.

The trophy will be voided when you touch the ground, so make sure to swing before landing and do not touch the buildings either, as Peter or Miles may start wall-crawling, which will also negate the try, requiring another attempt at the trophy.

Once you have successfully executed 30 air tricks without touching the ground, you will receive the very rare bronze “Hang Ten” trophy. As of this writing, it is currently the 8th rarest trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
