How to Obtain Echoes in Wuthering Waves

Echoes are found throughout the world by defeating enemies or bosses across Tacet Fields. These items randomly drop from defeated enemies and carry various features, stats, and rarity types. You can freely farm these items without any issues or limits, but just be warned, once you’ve completely farmed various Tacet Fields or enemies, you’ll need to wait for the world to reset the next day to continue hunting these items within your world. To get around this, you can venture to other people’s worlds and kill their monsters for these drops. Any acquired Echo can be equipped and upgraded as well.

For those who are a little confused, Echoes are basically Wuthering Waves’ alternative to gearing. Instead of armor or headpieces like in most open-world MMOs, Wuthering Waves features Echoes which function similarly. It’s also comparable to Artifacts in Genshin Impact.

How to Upgrade Echoes in Wuthering Waves

To make an Echo stronger, you’ll need to upgrade it. You can use exp items called Sealed Tubes to level your Echoes. Sealed Tubes come in a variety of rarity types and the greater the rarity, the more significant the boost in experience given. Once you’ve gotten your Echo to a certain level, you can ascend it using Tuners. Ascending Echoes unlocks various substats for that particular Echo, but the stat is always randomized.
