The Division 2 players can get the Diamondback Exotic Rifle by completing the Kenly College Expedition for the first time. The mission area is located in the northeast section of the map between Manning National Zoo and The Summit.

There are three missions in the Kenly College Expedition that can be completed in Story mode or higher difficulty to receive the Diamondback. Story mode is recommended, as there is no time trial with the higher difficulties. Each mission only needs to be completed once, and finishing all three will unlock the Chapel, where the loot chest containing the Exotic rifle will be.

However, the Kenly College Expedition is only available at specific times. The schedule can be viewed at the Seasons vendor under the Events Timeline at the White House. The expedition is available every few weeks on rotation, and the mission area can be accessed for one week.

Diamondback Exotic Rifle Stats and Talents in The Division 2

The Diamondback is the Exotic variant of the 1886 rifle, so it will shoot similarly to that gun. Its core attributes are Rifle Damage and Critical Hit Damage, followed by one random attribute that can be reconfigured at the Crafting Station. It also comes with attachments that cannot be switched out:

  • Magazine: +10% Reload Speed
  • Muzzle: +15% Critical Hit Damage
  • Optics: +10% Accuracy
  • Underbarrel: +10% Stability

Its Talent is called Agonizing Bite and starts by randomly marking an enemy within 20m or closest to the player. Hitting the enemy consumes the mark with a critical hit with damage amplified by 20%, followed by all shots being guaranteed critical hits for five seconds. Another enemy gets marked after a kill or reload. It can be best used with a Striker build that focuses on Critical Hit Damage and Critical Hit Chance to maximize the damage with each shot.
