How to Get Diablo 4’s Free Dragoon’s Path Mount Armor and Trophies

At least something in there is worth the price

Another live-service game, another holiday event. But wait, I’m not talking about Midwinter Blight, I’m talking about actual, free gifts! Here’s how to get the Dragoon’s Path Mount armor and trophies in Diablo 4.

Where to Get Diablo 4’s Dragoon’s Path Mount Armor

Like the other occasional free gifts offered in the shop, the Dragoon’s Path mount cosmetics can be found in the Free Gifts section of the store page until December 26. See below for the exact menu location:

If you want these cosmetics, you’ll have to log in and give Blizzard those sweet concurrent player numbers before December 26.

How to Equip the Dragoon’s Path Mount Armor

Equipping your new duds is as easy as moseying over to a stable master (marked with a horse icon on the map) and selecting the armor from your stable, shown below:

The free items include both a set of mount armor and two trophies. You can only equip one of the two trophies at once, so you’ll have to choose between the list of grudges and the weird decoration your aunt has on her mantle.

It’s been a bit of a trend for the team to dole out free goodies in the shop, namely old Twitch drops that have run their course. I’d wager these will come back around eventually, so if you’re out for the holidays don’t sweat too much.

Also, you can still claim these even if you haven’t unlocked your mount yet. Getting your mount means completing Act III of the campaign, but go ahead and snag these goodies if you’d like so you’ll have them for later. The FOMO machine waits for no one, I’m afraid.

If you’re like me, you probably have pretty bad luck when it comes to getting those mount armors and trophies from rare monsters and bosses – so this is the perfect time to liven your ride up a little. For a little added variety, check out our guide to earning more free mount armors in Diablo 4!
