How to Get Dawn Chorus in Destiny 2

"Go out in a blaze of glory." —Ancient Earth proverb

Warlocks are easily the best class in the game (I’m not biased at all, promise), and it’s only natural that you’d want to hoard every Exotic they can have. Especially if they’re good. To that end, here’s how to get Dawn Chorus in Destiny 2.

How to Get Dawn Chorus in Destiny 2

Solar Warlocks are getting all the glory these days. But if you’re thinking of switching off Starfire Protocol, Dawn Chorus isn’t a bad shot. This Exotic Helmet offers Rites of Ember, which allows your Daybreak projectiles to scorch on contact. Your scorch effect will also deal more damage, and you can get a small amount of melee energy each time your scorch effects damage a target.

It’s great if you love using your melee ability!

Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to get. There are only two ways to make Dawn Chorus yours.

·       You can get Dawn Chorus by completing Legend and Master level Lost Sectors Solo or,

·       You can get Dawn Chorus by defeating all six Vex Incursion Zone Bosses.

Each day, there’s a Lost Sector that Guardians have a chance to take on solo at higher level difficulties. These Lost Sectors offer a rotating loot pool of Exotic armor which can be dropped if you complete the Lost Sector on Legend or Master difficulty solo.

If you complete the Lost Sector on a day where the loot pool is for Exotic helmets, and you happen to be playing as a Warlock, there’s a chance that Fallen Sunstar might drop. Though… there’s also a chance that Fallen Sunstar might drop instead.

Vex Incursion Zones are even more difficult. These zones rotate on a weekly schedule but actually appear randomly. If you do manage to stumble across one, you’ll likely need help to defeat all six bosses in the time limit. And even if you, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get Dawn Chorus. The Exotic that drops will be one you don’t have… and that just happens to include Legend and Master Sector exclusive Exotics.

With all that in mind, it might be easier to try to farm out Legend Lost Sectors, even if the drop rate for Exotics is questionable. If the difficulty is putting you off, we have a build that makes these Lost Sectors a breeze. Check it out here: Best Build for Completing Legendary Lost Sectors in Destiny 2.
