How to Get Capital in Gundam Evolution

Becoming a Gundam capitalist

Gundam Evolution is an Overwatch-style free-to-play hero shooter featuring legendary Gundam mechs. Fans can control their favorite models from Gundam’s rich history, but unlocking them in the game requires a currency called Capital. Most of the models in the game have an unlock price of exactly 1,980 Captial, and since it is not possible to buy this currency with real money right now, many players are wondering how to earn such an amount. Check out our explanation below to find out how to get Capital in Gundam Evolution.

Earning the Capital currency needed to unlock new Gundam units as well as many cosmetic items is not easy or fast, but generally, there are two ways:

  1. Completing Beginner Challenges – Completing all these challenges can award enough Capital currency to unlock a new Gundam unit. The only problem is that it is impossible to complete all these challenges at once, so a grind of several days is required.
  2. By raising the Battle Pass level – You will not receive Capital currency after each match, but only when you raise your Battle Pass level. You can get 1000 capital when you reach level 18 and 1000 more once level 58 is reached.

Of course, if grinding Captial is too slow for you, you can always invest real money in the other premium currency in Gundam Evolution – the EVO Coins – which have been available to purchase since last week and can speed up the unlocking process substantially.

Gundam Evolution is out right now for PC and PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X version will be released on December 1, 2022.
