How to Get Bullet Spray in Destiny 2 The Dawning 2023

Spray n' Pray

The Dawning 2023 is here! And that means it’s time to help Eva bake cookies for everyone in the galaxy (besides Nimbus, apparently). Here’s how to get Bullet Spray in Destiny 2’s The Dawning event.

How to Get the Bullet Spray Ingredient in Destiny 2

The Bullet Spray description reads, “Defeat opponents with Auto Rifles, Submachine Guns, and Machine Guns,” but is it really so simple? Well, yeah, sort of. The best way to farm Bullet Spray quickly is to use Machine Guns to mow down hordes of enemies in activities like the Moon’s Altars of Sorrow. The more enemies you can defeat, the higher your chances of nabbing the ingredient.

If you aren’t in the mood to “farm” Bullet Spray, you can always equip a Primary or Secondary Auto Rifle or Submachine Gun and get them passively while you play. These are my favorite weapon types, so I’m always swimming in the stuff after a hefty play session. Sharp Flavor, on the other hand…

Bullet Spray is used in the following two recipes:

  • Blueberry Crumbles – Delivered to Shaw Hawn in the Cosmodrome.
    • Ether Cane, Bullet Spray.
  • Telemetry Tapioca – Delivered to Banshee-44 in the Tower.
    • Vex Milk, Bullet Spray.

So if you’re trying to deliver the goods to everyone’s favorite forgetful gunsmith or everyone’s least favorite Boy Scout, you’ll need to pew-pew some dudes. Remember – you’ll also need Essence of Dawning to bake these cookies, which can be obtained from any activity. These can be quite the grind, so I’d wager you’ll end up with more ingredients than you can readily use if you’re completing dungeons, PvP matches, Nightfalls, or Seasonal Activities regularly.
