How to Get Bruxish in Pokemon GO

Bruxish is an Alolan Pokemon that has been locked off to trainers in Pokemon GO… until now. Bruxish will make its global debut in Pokemon GO during the Festival of Colours!

If you are curious, Bruxish can not be Shiny in Pokemon GO. Which is a shame because its Shiny version suits it so well.

For trainers who are hoping to encounter Bruxish, logging on at some point between Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10:00am, to Tuesday March 14, 2023, at 10:00pm local time will be the best time to catch Bruxish. This is how long the Festival of Colour will run.

During this event, you can find Bruxish as a Wild Encounter and as a 1-Star Raid Boss, where it will share the limelight with Rockruff, Espurr, and Mareanie. Because Bruxish is a 1-Star Raid Boss, you will be able to fight it solo. Bring a Dark or Electric Pokemon to counter Bruxish’s Psychic- and Water-typing!

Upon encountering Bruxish, you can expect it to have the following moves:

Fast Moves:

  • Bite (Dark)
  • Water Gun (Water)
  • Confusion (Psychic)

Charge Moves:

  • Aqua Tail (Water)
  • Crunch (Dark)
  • Psychic Fangs (Psychic)

It is too early to tell whether Bruxish will break into the meta, but it seems unlikely. Still, it is a unique Pokemon that perfectly fits the vibrant theme behind the Festival of Colours, and you will want to add it to your Pokedex.
