Hades 2 players can get Bronze by visiting the City of Ephyra. Although, the region is not part of the run to defeat Chronos in the Underworld, but the City of Ephyra is on the surface instead.

While players will encounter items that need Bronze early on, the ability to unlock access to the surface will come after a few requirements have been met. The first is meeting the Olympus messenger Hermes in the Oceanus region.

This will unlock the Permeation of Witching Wards Incantation from the Crossroads Cauldron. It can be purchased for three Moly, one Shadow, and one Cinder.

The gateway across from the gateway leading down to the Underworld will now be open for Melinoë to explore. However, she will only be able to stay on the surface for a limited amount of time due to her family curse. Then she will die and return back to the Crossroads.

Make a mad dash through a couple of rooms on the surface and seek out piles of bronze armor. Be sure to have the Crescent Pick equipped to be able to mine at least three Bronze from it.

Two of the major items that require Bronze are the Argent Skull and the Rod of Fishing. The Argent Skull is the fifth weapon that players will encounter and requires one Bronze and two Glassrock.

The Rod of Fishing allows players to catch fish and trade the fish for Bones at the Wretched Broker. The Gathering Tool requires two Fate Fabric and one Bronze. One successful trip to the surface will give enough Bronze to get these two items and mark them off the list of available tools to get.
