Diablo 4 has so many builds for each character that learning the ins and outs can be daunting. Luckily, we’re here to help make Hell just a little bit easier to navigate. If you’re running a Necromancer, you’ll want to learn about the Skeletal Priests. Here’s how to get and use Skeletal priests in Diablo 4.
How to Get and Use Skeletal Priests in Diablo 4
First off, you can not obtain Skeletal Priests until you have unlocked the Skeletal Mages at Level 15. Once you’ve unlocked those, you’ll then have the ability to summon Skeletal Priests, but not in the way you think.
The Skeletal Priest comes out when you try to summon a new Skeleton after your army is already full. It will appear, heal your minions and give them a damage buff, and then disappear.

So if your Skeletons are low on health, you can summon a new one from the corpse on the ground to heal and buff them for a short period of time. This is a great way to keep your Skeletons in the fight without having to resummon them and wait for the animation to finish for them to rejoin the fight.
There is also an ability in the skill tree called Bonded in Essence that will cause your Skeletal Priest healing output to be stronger.
Just summon your Skeleton using the ability on your hotbar (wherever you have it assigned) on any corpse on the ground when your army is full, and the Priest will emerge, do its thing, and then bounce faster than you will even notice it.
