How to Get All Akarius Prime Relics in Warframe

If the Akarius is so cool, where's the Arius?

A new Prime frame has been released in Warframe with Gauss Prime, alongside a few new weapons getting Prime variants. Here’s how to get all Akarius Prime relics in Warframe.

Every Akarius Prime Relic in Warframe

The Akarius Prime is an interesting case since you’ll need the Blueprint alongside two Barrels and two Receivers, and a Prime Link. This is very different from standard Akimbo Prime Weapons, which require two of the base Prime variants alongside a Prime Link to make them Akimbo. With that weird discrepancy out of the way, let’s go through each of the four relics you’ll need.

Akarius Prime Blueprint – Neo A11 Rare Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Marduk, Void.
    • Ukko, Void.
    • Oxomoco, Void.
    • Circulus, Lua.
    • Piscinas, Saturn.

For the base blueprint, you’ll want to snag the Neo A11 and get its Rare reward. The best mission for Neo A11 Relics is going to be Ukko, Void thanks to its speed and it being a Capture mission and all. Once you have the Neo A11, don’t open it unless it’s Radiant. You’re wasting time farming more of them than you need to otherwise.

Akarius Prime Barrel – Axi D5 Common Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Tyana Pass, Mars.
    • Hydron, Sedna.
    • Circulus, Lua.

For the barrel, you’ll want to snag some Axi D5s and go for a Common Reward. Axi D5s can be snagged from any of the three above missions you’d like, but Hydron, Sedna is a personal favorite thanks to it being a great spot for farming Affinity for your frames. Once you have one, don’t level it at all for the highest chance at one of the two Prime Barrels you’ll need.

Akarius Prime Receiver – Lith A6 Rare Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Unda, Venus.
    • Gabii, Ceres.
    • Hepit, Void.
    • Stribog, Void.
    • Teshub, Void.

Next up is the Receiver, which can be earned as a Rare reward from Lith A6 relics. These can be farmed easily from Hepit, Void thanks to its ease to clear and being a Capture mission. Once a Lith A6 is in your hands, don’t open it unless you have it Radiant already, similar to the Neo A11 from earlier.

Akarius Prime Link – Lith R5 Uncommon Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Unda, Venus.
    • Gabii, Ceres.
    • Hepit, Void.
    • Stribog, Void.
    • Teshub, Void.

Finally, we have the Prime Link, which can be snagged from Lith R5 as an Uncommon reward. Like the Lith A6 from above, Hepit, Void will be your best friend thanks to its speed and being a Capture mission. Once you have one, upgrade it to either Flawless or Radiant before running it.

How to Use Akarius Prime Relics

Once you have a relic that you want to open, head over to your Star Chart and open up the Void Fissures menu. This is found as one of the dropdowns in the top right of the screen. Here, you’ll see various missions labeled Lith, Meso, Neo, and Axi Fissure. Select the one corresponding to your relic, then pick your relic when prompted.

Tip:

Running the same relic with other players can heavily increase your chances of getting the drop you want. If you don’t have friends to run the mission with, you can always check Recruitment Chat for other players to group up with.

Once in the mission, you’ll want to run it mostly as normal. However, you’ll notice that certain enemies drop a marked resource. These are Void Traces, and you’ll need 10 of them to open up a relic at the end. Once you reach the end of the mission, you and the other players will have one of the rewards from your relics available to select. With any luck, one of them will be for an Akarius Prime part.

How Does the Akarius Prime Differ From the Regular Akarius?

Similar to the Acceltra Prime, which was also added with Gauss Prime’s release, the Akarius Prime sports higher stats such as base damage, Crit Chance, Status Chance, and Rate of Fire. In exchange, it has a lower magazine combined with a higher Mastery Rank requirement. Regardless, you should get considerably more out of the Prime variant of the weapon.
