All 16 Emerald Bottle Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are 16 emerald bottle locations throughout Dreamlight Valley, and you can find them in the following biomes:

  • Two in Peaceful Meadow
  • Five in Dazzle Beach
  • Four in the Glade of Trust
  • One in the Forest of Valor
  • One in Frosted Heights
  • Two in Sunlit Plateau
  • One in the Forgotten Lands

Yes, you’ll need every area in the game unlocked before finding all 16 bottles!

The bottles appear submerged in the water in these biomes, and you’ll have to use your fishing rod to reel them in. You’ll know you successfully found one when the fishing circle under your hook appears orange instead of the usual white. Once you catch them, the bottles will each take up their own inventory slot, so make sure you have plenty of space!

The map below, courtesy of the Solving the Secrets DDLV Discord, also shows all 16 locations circled! I have personally visited all of these spots and found them quickly, but you’ll still have to keep your eyes peeled as they can be a little challenging to find.

From my experiences, the Glade of Trust and Peaceful Meadow waters can be a little unclear, so make sure you thoroughly check each area before moving on to the next spot!

What Are Emerald Bottles Used for in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Once you get your hands on all sixteen bottles, you’ll find them in your inventory. Interact with them to find a “use” option that turns them into emerald slivers! Doing this is crucial to solving the green potato mystery, so make sure you do this with all 16 bottles. If your inventory filled up quickly while catching the bottles, you may have to use a few at a time before continuing to fish the rest.

After getting all 16 slivers, head into a crafting station and make them into a Jade Crystal! You’ll have to use this to get green potato seeds, so be sure not to skip this step like I initially did. I spent an extra few minutes running around the mines and backtracking before remembering I had to craft this item. It happens, and that’s why I’m here to teach you to avoid making the same mistakes!
