Where to Find Green Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are multiple steps you’ll have to take to find the green potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Find 16 emerald bottles around Dreamlight Valley.
- Turn the bottles into emerald slivers and craft a Jade Crystal.
- Bring the Jade Crystal into Vitalys Mines’ secret room.
- Interact with the room’s crystal ball to get a green seed.
- Plant the seed in the Forgotten Lands and wait for it to grow!
Once you finish growing the plant, you’ll get the green potato as a reward.
Where to Find Emerald Bottles in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first step to finding the green potato is to find the 16 emerald bottles scattered around Dreamlight Valley. They’ll appear in the water for you to fish out! You’ll know you’ve successfully caught it on your line when an orange fishing circle appears in the water instead of the regular white circle. Be prepared to travel around the map, from Peaceful Meadow to the Forgotten Lands!

Once you get all 16 bottles, you’ll have to use them in your inventory to turn them into emerald slivers. From here, bring them to a crafting station and create the Jade Crystal before heading to Vitalys Mines.
Where is the Vitalys Mines Secret Room in Dreamlight Valley?
To reach the Vitalys Mines secret room, you’ll have to find the mines in Sunlit Plateau, traverse through its corridors, and find the entrance to your left. You’ll naturally encounter this by progressing through the main story and Scar’s friendship quests.

In this room, you’ll find a table with a crystal ball. With your Jade Crystal, interact with this crystal ball to receive some green seeds. You’ll need to plant these to get your green potato, so hold onto them.
How to Grow the Green Potato Plant in Dreamlight Valley
After collecting your green potato seeds in the Vitalys Mines, head out of this area and travel to the Forgotten Lands. Here, you’ll have to plant the seeds and wait for the crop to grow. However, you have two options: either wait for it to grow or use the Miracle Growth Elixir to get it instantly.

I made some Miracle Growth Elixir and used it on my watering can to get the potato instantly. If you don’t do this, you’ll have to wait anywhere from 1-2 hours until it finishes growing. It’s a long wait for these potatoes. The only downside is that you’ll have to use Vitalys Crystal, Rich Soil and Dreamlight to make it! Compared to waiting hours for the plant to grow, it’s worth it.
Once the plant is done growing, harvest it to get your green potato! Now you can bring it into your crafting station and use the potato, Jade Crystal, and an empty vial to make the Crystalline Green Potion! This is one of the ones you’ll need for the rainbow potion, so make sure to keep it in your inventory or in a safe chest until you’re ready to use it.
