Final Fantasy XIV hosts many crafting items that can be used to make a diverse range of useful and interesting items. It comes as no surprise that there is a multitude of new materials for eager Eorzians to work with as of patch 6.4. These materials vary from quite difficult to obtain to items that are able to be purchased. Esteemed alchemists will be eager to obtain Alche-mist, an essential component in the set of Grade 8 Tincture items, which boosts last for twice that of similar potions. Here is where to find Alche-mist in FFXIV patch 6.4.

Where to Obtain Alche-mist in FFXIV

Great news, Eorzian! You will not have to trek far and wide to obtain Alche-mist in FFXIV. All you have to do is travel to Radz-at-Han and pay a visit to the merchant, Cihanti. You can find Cihanti at the following coordinates 10.8, 10.4. You will have most likely interacted with Cihanti before whilst exchanging Allagan Tomestones. First, interact with her and then select Allagan Tomestones of Causality (Other) from the list of options. From here, you will be able to scroll down to Alche-mist and then purchase it for 20 Allagan Tomestones of Causality. What a deal!

You do need to have a class at level 90 to have Allagan Tomestones of Casuality drop from dungeons, raids, and trials, as well as have completed Endwalker to spend them. This should be a non-issue as the required Alchemist level to synthesize the potions that they are used for is 90.

Level 90 Alchemists can use Alche-mist to craft the following potions: Grade 8 Tincture of Dexterity, Grade 8 Tincture of Intelligence, Grade 8 Tincture of Mind, Grade 8 Tincture of Strength, and Grade 8 Tincture of Vitality. Which useful boosts could definitely give you the upper hand during raids!
