FFXIV: Where to Get Moonshine Twine

Can't make this at home, that's for sure.

by Jesse Vitelli

Every new patch in FFXIV brings new items to use for various reasons. It can be tricky to try and parse every single item, where to get it, and what it does for you. Most of the time, you can ignore most of these weird bespoke items because you’ll never engage with the systems that ask for them. With patch 6.3, Moonshine Twine is used to upgrade your high-level gear further. Here is where to get Moonshine in FFXIV patch 6.3.

FFXIV: Where to Get Moonshine Twine

Moonshine Twine can be obtained from Radz-at-Han for one Agalia Coin and one Euphrosyne Coin. You can pick up Moonshine Twine from Nesvaaz at the Totem and Sundry Exchange (X:10.5, Y:10.1). Just click on this NPC, select “Out of This World Oddities” and scroll all of the way to the bottom. Here you will find the Moonshine Twine item.

You’ll need to have completed Agalia and Euphrosyne to receive the coin, which will be used to trade it in for Moonshine Twine.

You can also trade Djole (10.3, Y:9.7) At Radz-at-Han four Abyssos Mythos III books which are obtained from the Abyssos Savage raid tiers.

The final way to obtain Moonshine Twine is to trade 3,000 Sacks of Nuts to either J’lakshai in Old Sharlayan (X: 11.9, Y: 13.2) or Willmetta in Radz-at-Han (X:10.3, Y:7.4)

You can use the Moonshine Twine item to upgrade your Lunar Envoy gear set. This is a solid way to gear up if you’re trying to take on the Mount Ordeals Extreme Trial.

Jesse loves most games, but he really loves games that he can play together with friends and family. This usually means late nights in Destiny 2 or FFXIV. You can also find him chipping away at his ever-expanding backlog of JRPGS or staring at his massive Amiibo collection.
