Visions of Mana is the latest entry in the Mana series, which was developed on Unreal Engine at the time. The PC version performs well for the most part, but it isn’t perfect, with a few technical issues and a lack of options that make it a bit of an experience. Multiple players have reported issues with their controllers as well, and here is how you can fix those in Visions of Mana.

Fixing the Visions of Mana Controller Issues

Visions of Mana doesn’t have proper native support for PlayStation controllers on PC, which is why you need to enable Steam Input and switch the Button Style to PlayStation controllers.

  • Make sure Visions of Mana isn’t running
  • Open Steam, and navigate to your library
  • Here, right-click on Visions of Mana and select Properties
  • In the Controller tab, select the Enable Steam Input option under Override for Visions of Mana

Like a lot of other Unreal Engine titles, Visions of Mana has the usual issues you’d expect from games developed on the engine. This means there are the usual stutter, texture pop-in, and graphical settings that don’t do much to improve overall performance even when lowered. It’s still one of the better releases overall, with largely manageable requirements as well, but we hope that the developers continue to patch the title to improve the PC experience.
