Fixing the Cat Quest III Achievements Bug

To make sure the achievements unlock in Cat Quest III, you need to restart Steam and re-login to your account.

For some reason, Steam isn’t registering the achievements as you unlock them, but all of the unlocked ones pop up when Steam is restarted since the achievement progress is tied to the save files. Simply load up your save file, and those should appear. This is currently a known issue, and the solution provided above is recommended by the developers.

There are 30 achievements to unlock in total, and you’ll earn plenty of these by simply playing Cat Quest III. As far as bugs go, this isn’t too bad, especially when the progress is saved regardless. The developers have already released a patch that addresses some of the more pressing issues, including a potential soft lock that occurs early in the game. You can follow the thread for the known issues on the Steam forums.

Overall though, Cat Quest III isn’t a very demanding title to run, and despite some potential issues players can run into with their controllers, the developers have released another great entry that takes the franchise further. It’s also available on basically every platform out there, but the achievements bug is only present in the Steam version.
