How to Finish Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 in Escape from Tarkov

Don't spawn in the office, please.

There are several quests in Escape from Tarkov that require you to get a quest item and bring it outside the raid. Some of them have multiple spawn locations, which makes them hard to find, especially since there are no indicators of where they could possibly spawn. Some spawns might even be hidden behind a locked door, which is the exact case for the Beyond the Red Meat Part 1. The task has multiple spawns, and if you are unlucky, it might spawn inside a room that needs a key to open. Here’s how to finish the Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 task in Escape from Tarkov.

How to Complete Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 in Escape from Tarkov

The Beyond the Red Meat Part 1 quest requires the following objectives:

  • Locate and obtain information on culinary secrets at the Beluga restaurant on Streets of Tarkov
  • Hand over the found data

The information on the quest refers to the Chef’s Diary quest item inside the Beluga restaurant on Klimov Street in Streets of Tarkov. There’s another restaurant near the Sewer River extract, but it isn’t the one you need for the quest.

To get to Beluga Street, you can either hug the right of the Streets of Tarkov until you reach Pinewood Hotel and cross Klimov Street until you see the image above. You can also take Primorsky Ave, which is the main road, so it’ll be dangerous to take this route.

Culinary Secrets in Streets of Tarkov – Chef’s Diary Spawns

Once you get to the Beluga restaurant, head straight to the second floor. The staircase is toward the left of the entrance, as seen in the image above.

Spawn 1

The first spawn is on the second floor on the bar counter. You can vault over the bar counter to get inside.

Spawn 2

The second spawn is on the third floor, where there’s another bar counter. Look under the counter next to the boxes.

Spawn 3

The third spawn is also on the third floor but inside the kitchen. Near the sink, you’ll see some cabinets, one of which is slightly open. The third spawn is inside this cabinet.

Spawn 4

The fourth spawn is locked behind the director’s office. You need the Beluga Restaurant Director Key to open it. The locked door is next to the staircase or inside of the kitchen. Both doors are locked, but you only need to open one of them.

Getting the key is optional since the Chef’s Diary can spawn in three other areas. However, if you don’t want to play around luck, you can also buy the key from the flea market before going into a raid.

Once you have the Chef’s Diary, you still need to survive and extract. You can grab a Green Flare and go to the Klimov Street extraction, which should be the closest extraction from the Beluga restaurant.
