Where to Find the Secret Losomn Boss Gorge in Remnant 2

While there’s no shortage of random chance in Remnant 2, which sees many of its maps procedurally generated, there is a method to the madness. Many secret entrances have the same tile, they’re just put in different places. And that’s the case for the Secret Losomn Boss. Here’s how to find it.

The Losomn Boss, Gorge, can appear in either the Butcher’s Quarters or the Cotton Kiln. I personally found it in the Cotton Kiln, close to the second checkpoint before the area boss. The entrance to its lair is always the same, and you can see it below.

As you can see, it features two husk-like bodies outside of an entrance that doesn’t appear on the map. But once you go through the entrance, the hidden subterranean lair will be revealed. From the lair’s entrance, descend until you get to a simple jumping puzzle.

Once you’ve crossed the poles, enter the alcove on the left to obtain the Shiny Hog Lure Ring.

  • Shiny Hog Lure – Reloading grants 25-30 Mod Power to both weapons based on a percentage of magazines reloaded.

From the ring, turn left and you’ll find a fence you can hop at the end of the tunnel. You’ll wind up in a cross-shaped corridor. On the right section of the cross corridor will be a lever, which will unlock the door at the end. Doing so will release Gorge, the miniboss.

How to Defeat Gorge in Remnant 2

Gorge is a massive pig miniboss with two modifiers. But what actually makes it challenging is the limited quarters you’ll have to fight it in.

Once you open the door, Gorge will charge forward, but not from the locked door. It will come to an alcove immediately opposite the lever, so get out of the way as quickly as possible.

Gorge’s fight is defined by its charge attack and its spinning kick. It will do everything possible to stay close to you, and it can pack a punch because of it. Retreating is difficult because of how tight the halls are, so lean into using your melee weapon. Alternatively, opt for weapons that don’t have slow reloads.

While Gorge is dangerous at close quarters, its health pool is low. Retreat if you need to heal, but don’t be afraid of taking an aggressive strategy. Once Gorge is dead, it will drop the Twisting Wounds Mutation. I also received two Corrupted Lumenite Crystal, Cracked Ammo Pick Up Relic Fragments, and two Iron.

  • Twisting Wound Mutation – Increases Ranged damage of this weapon by 10% to Bleeding targets. At level 10, this weapon’s ranged weak spot and ranged critical hits apply Bleeding, dealing 360 Bleed damage of 10s.

If you struggled to take down Gorge, it might be time to upgrade your arsenal. And what better place to start than the Plasma Cutter? Check out how to get it here:  How to Get the Plasma Cutter Secret Weapon in Remnant 2.
