The mysterious and rather rich world of Minecraft has done it again. The Deep Dark Biome is a new game area that came as one of the many major updates with 1.17 Caves and Cliffs DLC. The Warden awaits you in the deep, which has old and new gamers alike thrilled to the bone. Here’s how to find the Deep Dark Biome in Minecraft.
Where is Deep Dark Biome in Minecraft?
You will need to complete several steps to get to the Deep Dark Biome, depending on whether you play the Java or Bedrock edition of Minecraft.
Deep Dark Biome is below the Y-axis layer 0 and to find it in Java Minecraft, you will need to open coordinates by pressing the F3 key. When close to the biome, you’ll notice a block of Deepslate in the shape of a large, deep ravine. This is the entrance to the biome.
It is full of Sculk Sensors, which is very useful since they will warn you about the presence of other players near your home and other structures.
In the Bedrock version, turn on the Show Coordinate option in the World Options menu when you create your World. If, for some reason, you forgot to turn on the Show Coordinate option the first time, it is not a big deal. To fix this, just click on the Pen Icon or Edit button next to your World and then turn on Show Coordinate.
At first, there will be no mobs in the Deep Dark Biome, but if triggered three times, the Sculk Shrieker will summon the Warden while also inflicting you with the Darkness effect. This will sometimes dim your vision and you will find only light in the form of Sculk Catalysts and lava.
One more thing, Ancient Cities are a thing here, loaded with precious loot.
