Where to Find Canned Dog Food in Fallout 76

You can find canned dog food in Fallout 76 in various locations, with the most reliable being Mama Dolce’s Food Processing, The Whitespring Resort, Mount Blair Trainyard, and Watoga Shopping Plaza.

Alternatively, if you need a can or two, you can find the occasional spawn in a shopping cart near the railroad underpass at Charleston Landfill, inside the green train card at Mount Blair Trainyard, and in a wooden boat to the south of Grafton Dam.

That said, dog food is one of those common food items in the game that spawn regularly in containers throughout the world. You will find them primarily in food-related places, like the food court at Watoga Shopping Plaza, or in the main hall at the Sons of Dane Compound, for example.

What is Canned Dog Food For in Fallout 76?

With its many survival elements, including the constant need for food and drink, Fallout 76 players will want to keep a fresh stock of edibles on hand. Unfortunately, many of these spoil. But not canned dog food!

As a pre-war canned food item, it will not spoil nor incur any disease risk when you dig in for a bite to eat. It’s the perfect food, though it does provide a single point of Radiation. We can look past the irradiated nature for the quality of the contents, right?

While most players will likely prefer to make use of the many cooking plans they’ve acquired, like Cranberry Relish, a nice stash of canned food can keep you adventuring through Appalachia for quite a long time!

But hey, if you do prefer to cook, you should likely find some Spices to help flavor all that roadkill you’re stirring up in the pot!
