How to Find and Kill Disciples in MW3 Zombies

There are a few different Elite enemies that can spawn in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, including the Disciples that siphon the life of those around them. To help you complete your challenges, we have the best ways you can find and kill these Elites within this guide.

What Are Disciples in MW3 Zombies?

In MW3, Disciples are Elite, mini-boss Zombies that will steal your HP with a beam attack called Drain Life. They can also buff standard Zombies and spawn new ones that have increased health and speed. You’ll find them as recurring enemies that you may need to defeat for side challenges or as a part of the main story.

Where to Find Disciples in MW3 Zombies

You can find Disciples at Eliminate the Bounty Contracts or around Tier 2 and Tier 3 zones on the map. Entering higher tier zones is your best bet because the weaker versions of Disciples will be hiding around the open world instead of waiting for you in a contract. However, you’ll need to bring some Aether Crystals or save up essence for Pack-A-Punch before you enter.

If you decide to run the Bounty Contracts instead on Tier 1, remember that the High-Value Target can be one of three Elite Zombie types. So don’t get discouraged if it’s not always a Disciple when you arrive. To save time, you can always pick up the contract, see the description, and cancel the mission if you don’t like the enemy.

Picking up Bounty Contracts in Tier 2 zones is your best overall option for farming Disciples. You’ll find them all over Urzikstan as you go from Elite to Elite in search of your challenge progress.

How to Kill Disciples in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

To kill Disciples in MW3 Zombies, avoid the siphon beam or break it by running to cover. Anytime you see the siphon, the zombie will heal through life stealing. Either shoot through with enough damage or run to a wall and break the line of sight on the beam. You also want to ensure you’re killing any of the zombies with the same red aura in the area.
