There are tons of quality of life improvements that have made it into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and we have the recent Direct to thank for letting us in on all the goss. We even put a list together of what’s going to be new in the game right here. It looks like plenty has changed since New Leaf, and thanks to Tom Nook, everyone’s getting caught up with the tech of the times. In fact, we hear that teleportation might even be real. Here’s what we know about how to fast travel in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
How to Fast Travel in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Now, veteran Animal Crossing players are going to remember the pain of going out on adventures way past your bedtime and spending a whole day maniacally shaking down trees and rocks for ways to make money. Once you’ve tired yourself out like that and you’re barely a husk of a Mayor, the last thing you want to do is to trek all the way back to your home on the other side of the island in the darkness.
Imagine doing the same thing but on a deserted island where nature has run amok. Maybe you’ll find yourself wedged between a coconut and a hard place and wonder exactly how to get yourself out of that tight spot.
Well, wonder no longer. You’ll be able to fast-travel to your home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and how to do it is pretty simple: bring up your NookPhone and you’ll find that there’s a Rescue Service app. Selecting it will call a Rescue Service to you that will help you fast-travel right back to your humble abode, at a price. Of course, nothing Tom Nook ever provides is truly free.
Now that you know how to fast travel in Animal Crossing New Horizons, we suspect that you’ll be making good use of the service if you’ve had a long day or if, well, you’re just lazy. It’s totally fine if it’s the latter; we promise we won’t tell on you to Isabelle. Need a hand with anything else about the upcoming Animal Crossing title?
