Now, veteran Animal Crossing players are going to remember the pain of going out on adventures way past your bedtime and spending a whole day maniacally shaking down trees and rocks for ways to make money. Once you’ve tired yourself out like that and you’re barely a husk of a Mayor, the last thing you want to do is to trek all the way back to your home on the other side of the island in the darkness. 

Imagine doing the same thing but on a deserted island where nature has run amok. Maybe you’ll find yourself wedged between a coconut and a hard place and wonder exactly how to get yourself out of that tight spot.

Well, wonder no longer. You’ll be able to fast-travel to your home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and how to do it is pretty simple: bring up your NookPhone and you’ll find that there’s a Rescue Service app. Selecting it will call a Rescue Service to you that will help you fast-travel right back to your humble abode, at a price. Of course, nothing Tom Nook ever provides is truly free.
