Diablo IV Swipes trophy

How to Earn Shifty Swipes Trophy/Achievement in Diablo 4

How to kill 50 enemies in Werebear form and 50 enemies in Werewolf form as a Druid

Diablo IV’s PlayStation trophy and Xbox achievement lists have multiple unique challenges, which require gamers to try out the specific skills for each of the action RPG’s various classes. Surprisingly, the Druid-related trophy/achievement in Diablo 4 is among the game’s rarest, with only 10.6% of PS5 gamers earning the trophy as of this writing (it’s even rarer than killing a World Boss!). Here is everything you need to know about quickly earning the rare Shifty Swipes PlayStation trophy or Xbox achievement in Diablo 4.

Shifty Swipes Trophy/Achievement in Diablo 4 – Explained

According to Shifty Swipes description, in order for players to earn the trophy they must “kill 50 enemies in Werebear form and 50 enemies in Werewolf form as a Druid.” This achievement can be obtained as early as player level 3, but only if you invest in the correct abilities.

In order to turn into a Werewolf, once your character levels up for the first time, you should assign your ability points to the “Claw” skill, which allows the Druid to “Shapeshift into a Werewolf and claw an enemy.”

Similarly, in order to transform into a Werebear, you must also invest in the “Maul” ability, which grants the power to “Shapeshift into a Werebear and maul enemies in front of you and behind you.”

If you don’t care about earning the achievement as early as possible, you can also invest in the “Shred” and/or “Pulverize” abilities, which become available after further leveling your Druid past the first subset of skills. I personally found the Pulverize ability to be a powerful skill for crowd control against large hordes of enemies.

Once you have acquired the ability for your Druid to morph into a Werewolf and Werebear, simply begin killing enemies in these forms. You will need to kill 50 as each Were-creature in order to obtain the achievement.

Once you have slain at least 50 enemies as both a Werewolf and Werebear, you will receive a rare, silver PlayStation trophy or Xbox achievement worth 25 Gamerscore.
