This Boss Fight is not a very ordinary fight. When it starts, you literally lose all your weapons. And then, you need to pick up the pieces from the ground (some weapons will be dropped). Scramble fast and find some tools with which you will deal damage to Je-Ne-Viv. I got Laurel, Magic Wand, Whip, and the Prismatic Missile. Prismatic Missile is very, VERY important here.

You will also notice that the camera is kinda weird, following Je-Ne-Viv instead of your character, and while your controls are pretty normal, it might be hard to adapt to this in the first few seconds. And… Eleanor will have a different outfit, that resembles Indiana Jones more than it resembles a mage.
The boss fight is not very difficult, you just need to dodge the red circles and keep your distance from Je-Ne-Viv. There is enough space in the boss chamber to run around and “kite” Je-Ne-Viv. I was toying around and even went to the secret chamber where Torrona’s Box is. When you deal enough damage, Luminaria Foscari will come to your rescue and finish the job and that ends the fight.
How to Unlock Hyper Mode in Abyss Foscari in Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC
It’s pretty self-explanatory from the title of this article, once you defeat Je-Ne-Viv, Hyper Mode unlocks for Abyss Foscari, the second stage of Tides of the Foscari DLC. So, it’s not the “usual” 25:00-minute boss that randomly appears. You need to actually finish the event.
