How to Complete the Vantage Point Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Strange name for a penance like this.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide’s penance system is similar to Vermintide’s challenge system, allowing you to complete all sorts of objectives for penance points, portrait frames, and cosmetics for your character. These range from easy but time-consuming, all the way to quick but extremely difficult. One of these penances for the Veteran is tripping some people up, but we’re here to help. Here’s how to complete the Vantage Point penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

How to Finish Vantage Point in Darktide

We have some unfortunate news for those who are playing in the pre-order beta at the time of writing. The Vantage Point penance is impossible to complete, as not all content required is currently available. You can play only six different mission types, with the seventh, Repair, part of a mission not yet available. These missions will be available later in the beta and before launch on November 30. This is frustrating as we very well know, though you’re just going to have to be patient.

If you’re reading this guide after launch, then thankfully the process is much easier. Completing one of each of the seven mission types (which you can find at the Related link below) will complete the challenge. You can tell the difference based on the Primary Objective of each mission, as each mission in the Mission Terminal will have a different symbol depending on the mission type. As one example, a crosshair icon depicts an Assassination mission, while a knife symbol depicts a Raid mission. Keep doing different ones, and you should have no trouble completing the challenge.

If you weren’t aware already, each class has a penance similar to this. This means you’ll need to do this four different times if you want a portrait frame for all four classes. That might sound annoying, but it’s simply time-consuming.
