Bitlife: Snowbird Challenge Walkthrough

Below are the tasks you will have to complete for the Snowbird challenge in BitLife:

  • Be born in Canada
  • Emigrate to Aruba
  • Purchase a houseboat in Aruba
  • Purchase and fully upgrade a villa in Aruba
  • Rent out 5+ fully upgraded properties in Aruba

Landlord Expansion Requirement

Before you begin this BitLife challenge, make sure to buy the Landlord expansion pack! Without this, you cannot upgrade and rent out properties regardless of your progress with the other tasks. You can get the pack in the BitLife marketplace for real money if you do not have it yet.

If you’ve already bought it in the past, then you’re free to move on to the rest of the challenge!

Being Born in Canada

The first part of this challenge is to have a character born in Canada! You can use a pre-existing character or create a new one by selecting your starting country as Canada. It doesn’t matter which city or gender you choose, as long as it is located in this country.

Make sure you keep your criminal record squeaky clean throughout your character’s life. If you’re charged with a crime, emigrating to Aruba will be far more challenging!

Emigrating to Aruba

Once you create your character, age up and make some money, it’s time to emigrate to Aruba! To do this, head into Activities > Emigrate and pick Aruba. If it doesn’t appear in the list right, close and reopen the list until it shows up. Request approval or use a Golden Passport if you own it to move to Aruba!

Purchasing and Renting Out Properties in Aruba

After arriving in Aruba, there are three main things you’ll have to accomplish. The first is buying a houseboat, one of the game’s cheapest available properties. To do this, go into Assets > Go Shopping > Real Estate Brokers and pick one of the shops. Check the list for a houseboat and buy it to knock out the third task!

Along the way, check the list for a villa and purchase it before going into Assets > Properties > Your Villa. Here, you’ll see two options: Upgrade and Rent. Add upgrades to your villa before renting it, alongside four other properties, out to available tenants.

Once you rent out at least five properties, including your villa and houseboat, you’ll finish the final task and complete the Snowbird Challenge in BitLife!
