BitLife Doom & Gloom Challenge Walkthrough

Below are the tasks you must complete for the Doom & Gloom challenge in BitLife:

  • Start an Armageddon cult in Florida
  • Own a compound
  • Own 10+ SUVs
  • Construct a fallout shelter and armory
  • Amass a following of 50,000 people

To finish this challenge, you must own the cult expansion pack. You can purchase this pack in the BitLife marketplace, allowing you to create a cult and amass followers.

How to Start an Armageddon Cult in Florida

To start the challenge, create a new character whose starting location is a Florida city, such as Miami, Tampa, or Orlando. It doesn’t matter which city you choose, as long as it’s in the US state of Florida.

Once you make your new character, age up until they’re old enough to create a cult. Head into relationships, choose commune, and purchase a compound. It’ll likely cost over $1,000,000, so make sure you make enough money through employment, inheritances, and other means to get enough for the property.

After buying your compound, come up with a name, choose Armageddon as your philosophy, and select your rules to create your cult.

Similarly, once you have your compound, you can head into your assets tab, go shopping, and search for SUVs. It doesn’t matter what brand they are or whether they’re used as long as they’re an SUV car. Buy at least 10 to knock out the third task.

How to Construct a Fallout Shelter and Armory

Now that you have your Armageddon cult and compound, head into your cult menu and select your compound. Here, you can construct structures to help raise its appeal and progress toward the fourth task. Search the structure list until you find armory and fallout shelter, building both for a hefty fee.

How to Amass a Following of 50,000 People

From now onward, amassing cult followers means keeping your appeal high, guiding your followers, and spreading the word of your new commune. Over time, you’ll naturally gain more members through recruitment.

Just be careful as you recruit new members, as police can arrest you for disturbing the peace. If you want to avoid this, you can opt for naturally gaining followers over time or take the gamble and attempt to recruit outsiders at the risk of drawing attention from authorities. If this happens, you can run away, accept your fate, or restart the app and try again.

Once you amass at least 50,000 followers for your cult, you’ll complete the Doom & Gloom Challenge in BitLife.
