How to Complete “Catch the Pokemon with the Limited Hints” in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk

If you’re grinding out Blueberry Quests with your buddies, you might be wondering how in the world you can complete the “Catch the Pokemon with the limited hints given” quest in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk. Here’s how.

How to Complete “Catch the Pokemon with the Limited Hints” in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk

As you’re playing in Union Circle, knocking out those BBQs, you may run into this odd Group Quest: “Catch the Pokemon that matches the limited hints you’ve been given!”

This may leave you to wonder… what limited hints? It doesn’t give you any hints at all. But actually, it does. It’s just not intuitive. Open your BBQ menu by pressing the right button on your D-pad. Then, highlight the golden group press and press ‘A’.

This will then open a menu that shows you the limited hints, as you can see above.

In my case, the limited hints were “Bug” and “Electric.” And, of course, that can only mean Joltik and Galvantula, which can be found at the bottom of the Chargestone Caverns, surrounded by electric webs. But if you’re given the option between choosing an unevolved form and an evolved form, also go with the evolved option! Otherwise, you’re likely wasting your time and your Poke Balls.

Group Quests are good for more than just getting BP, though. They’re necessary to continue getting Treats from Snacksworth. Once you’ve gotten 13 Legendary Treats from Snacksworth, he’ll only give you a Legendary Snack for every one Group Task you’ve completed. So, be sure to grab as many of those Group Quests as you can while you have your buddies online.

Alternatively, you can use one of the many Scarlet and Violet public Discords, which almost always have a dedicated channel for finding Blueberry Quest buddies to farm out quests with.
