How to See Whether Mortal Kombat 1’s Servers Are Up

There are a multitude of ways to know how Mortal Kombat 1’s servers are doing alright. The easiest way by far is to check the Mortal Kombat 1 Twitter account. Typically, if the game is either having server issues or is down for maintenance, the page will say it. In fact, as of writing, there was a post a few hours ago about maintenance to prepare for Omni-Man. If you see nothing, it’s possible that any server issues could be on your end.

However, that isn’t the only way to check the server status. Another great way is using the DownDetector website. If Mortal Kombat 1 is having server issues, you’ll typically see the site list a massive spike in the graph for the game. You can also provide a report yourself so it can be added to the graph to help others, but that’s entirely optional.

What Should You Do if the Servers are Down?

If the servers are having trouble, the best thing you can do is do something else. Keep an eye on both sites occasionally, and the servers should eventually come back up. A big game like Mortal Kombat 1 will have a decent networking team, so there’s a good chance you won’t have to wait too long. It depends on why it’s down and how quickly a fix can be deployed.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. If you’re looking for more information about the game, check out our list of all Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1.
