How to Buy and Use the Chemical Station in Schedule 1

Time to get it to 99% purity.

The chemical and oven stations unlock the ability to cook liquid products in Schedule 1. Depending on how you progressed, unlocking your new product, Pseudo, can be a bit confusing since you have no way to make it.

You’ll need the chemical station for that, and here’s how to buy and use one in Schedule 1.

Where to Get the Chemical Station in Schedule 1

To unlock the chemical station, you must finish the “Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy” mission. It is part of the primary mission, so if you haven’t done it, you should progress through the story.

If you are far from the mission and already have Pseudo, you have no choice but to wait and progress before you can start cooking the liquid product.

The Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy mission requires you to knock on any door of the Warehouse past 6 PM, located on the map in the image above. Once you knock, they’ll give you access to the Warehouse, and you can talk to the arms dealer, fixer, and the merchant.

Talk to the merchant or Oscar to see what he has in store for you. You’ll see the chemical station and the oven station, both totaling $2,500. At this point, it should be affordable unless you recently bought a huge stock of seeds to grow. Buy them and place them in any property you prefer.

How to Cook Liquid Product in Schedule 1

You need Pseudo, Acid, and Phosphorus to cook the liquid product. Buy the Pseudo from Shirley, the 2nd supplier, and Acid and Phosphorus from Oscar.

Once you have all the ingredients, go to the chemical station and use all three products. Place all ingredients inside the beaker. Stir the mixture and transfer it to the flask. Use the Bunsen Burner to heat the flask perfectly.

When heating the flask, there’s a green marker in the middle. If you turn up the heat, let the pointer stay in the green marker for a few seconds. I highly recommend letting go a second before it reaches the green marker and then lightly tapping your clicks so you maintain the position.

Once finished, you’ll get the output.

Take the output and place it inside your lab oven. Pour the liquid product onto the tray, close the oven, and start cooking. Once finished, open the oven and use a hammer to break the product. You’ll finally have your second product to sell. Each process gives you 10 pieces, so it is worth the trouble.

All those extra steps take a while, so you want to save up to hire a chemist so they can do it for you.

How to Automate Your Liquid Product Setup in Schedule 1

To automate your setup, you’ll need to hire chemists in the Warehouse. If you are just starting out with the liquid product or don’t have much investment yet, start with only one chemist. Assign a bed to your new employee and pay them appropriately through the briefcase.

Initially, a chemist could work on three workstations, but they moved that up to four to accommodate more stations since the powdered product also needed a chemist for its setup.

Assign one chemist to two Lab Ovens and two Chemical Stations. Place one Large Storage Rack near the Lab Oven and another one near the Chemical Stations.

It depends on your placement or property design, but you want an exclusive rack for your Pseudo, Acid, and Phosphorus and another one for your finished product. The supplies should be near the Chemical Station, and the storage for the finished product could be anywhere, depending on whether you still want to mix or package it immediately.

Interact with the Chemical Station and the Lab Oven while the clipboard is out to assign storage or supplies. The employee should immediately work as long as there are supplies available.
