The latest major patch for Manor Lords has dropped, introducing a few new systems and features including two new maps and several upgrades for existing structures. Players can now quench their villagers’ thirst more efficiently thanks to the newly added Stone Wells. Here is how you can build Stone Wells, which covers a wide network of burgage plots.
Build Stone Wells in Manor Lords
Building Stone Wells in Manor Lords is a relatively straightforward process. This isn’t a base building, but rather an upgrade for the existing Wooden Well. You need the following materials to upgrade a regular well to a Stone Well in Manor Lords:
Material | Quantity |
---|---|
Planks | 4 |
Stone | 10 |
If you have the required materials, the Well will be upgraded by clicking the droplet icon when the base structure is selected.
Unlike the regular Well, a single Stone Well can supply water to 50 plots, which is a huge upgrade.
This ensures that you don’t need to build multiple wells across the residential area, and instead place other structures in their place.
As a prerequisite for the materials though, you do need to have an established Stonecutter Camp with access to Stone deposits to generate Stone as well as a Sawpit to process Timber into Planks. As you grow your village, more plots will require a consistent water supply, so having a few Stone Wells is essential.
The cost might scare off some players from upgrading early on, especially when Stone is a bit rare during that time, but it pays off, especially when your humble village turns into a bustling city.
In addition to Stone Wells, the following features have been added as part of the update:
- New Playable Maps: High Peaks and Winding River.
- Overstock Setting Added: This setting allows the user to control how many extra goods are placed in distribution buildings.
- Bridge Building System: Bridges can be built using the Road Tool.
- Level 2 Tavern Upgrade
