How to Access the GOAT Pen Master Key Rooms Early Island 2

Can't keep this GOAT penned

The GOAT Pen is one of the first areas you will encounter once you leave Emma Jaunt’s house, and it is a three-story building with plenty of places to explore. You will quickly realize there are certain rooms that are locked, requiring a master key. Or does it? Here is how to access the GOAT Pen Master Keys Room early in Dead Island 2.

How to Access the GOAT Pen Master Key Rooms Early Island 2

So, when you first arrive in the GOAT Pen, you will quickly find that this sprawling Bel-Air mansion has quite a few rooms to explore and loot. But there are two rooms that are meant to be inaccessible, at least without the GOAT Pen Master Key.

Like with Curtis’ safe key, you will not be able to get the master key until you have progressed the story mission. You will know it is accessible once you have hit Venice Beach and unlocked fast travel.

If you are impatient, like I am, you can get into these rooms much earlier. The wine room in the GOAT Pen basement just requires you to break the glass, which will set off an alarm. However, the room with the actual treasure is on the first floor and is much harder to access.

Here is how to do it.

  • Head to the roof of the GOAT Pen. Go to the far left, above where the locked room is.
  • As you reach the glass wall of the roof, look down. You will see two sunchairs on a balcony below you.
  • Jump onto the sunchairs to avoid fall damage.
  • From this balcony, you can break the windows of the master bedroom to enter it. This will set off an alarm, but you will not be attacked because there are no zombies. You are here too early.
