Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a ton of great characters for players to find and fight as, but if you want to gain access to every character, you’re going to need to face quite a few challengers. New challengers are discovered by meeting specific requirements, like playtime and even beating certain aspects of the game certain ways. If you lose a fight to a challenger, you won’t be able to get that character. Fortunately, you’ll have plenty more chances, as you can actually rematch fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
How to Rematch Challengers
If you happen to lose a fight to one of the new challengers that approaches you in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, then not all is lost as you can actually refight these characters quite easily. In order to be able to rematch a challenger, you’re going to have to first unlock them. You can check out our guide on how to unlock characters to see what you need to do to unlock all the different challengers.
Once you’ve lost the fight, head back to the main menu of the game and then look for the option titled Games & More. From here you can find an option titled Challenger’s Approach, which will allow you to easily rematch any challengers that have approached you throughout your career in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Of course, you won’t be able to choose which order you fight these enemies in. Instead, you’ll need to fight them in the order that you unlocked them. This is a really useful feature because it allows you to relieve some of the stress that can come from constantly going head to head with challenging enemies. You can rematch the fight as many times as you need to in order to complete it and unlock the character.
