Resident Evil 4 Remake has finally arrived, with fans finally returning to the most popular Resident Evil game to date. Following the story of Leon for the first time since Resident Evil 2, RE4 sees Mr. Kennedy head to rural Spain to save the daughter of the President of the United States, Ashley Graham. What is Ashley’s Age in Resident Evil 4 Remake?
When you first see Ashley, you might be led to believe that she’s around 16 years old. The fact that she’s in school and having to wear a uniform further reinforces this, since most universities and colleges don’t require you to wear a uniform of some sort. According to the documents found throughout the game though, she’s considerably older. Ashley Graham is 20 years old, as of the year the game takes place (2004). This puts her about seven years behind Leon, who was born in 1977.
During the earlier parts of the game, Ashley takes on the role of the classic damsel in distress trope that many other pieces of media. Once you’ve reached the later stages though, she proves a little more capable and is shown fending for herself after getting a pep talk from Leon himself. This is especially true of Chapter 9 where (spoiler alert) you play as Ashley and are forced to use your blue lantern to fend off many infested knights.
