How Much Will Atlas Cost?

When Atlas launches into Early access on Friday, players will be able to pick up the game for a discounted $25 as a launch sale special. However, once this deal ends, the game will run for $30 during its Early Access phase, which is slated to last around two years, according to the game’s information on the Steam page.

After the Early Access period ends, players can look for the game to rise in price from $30 to $60, going up to full price. Of course, this won’t happen for a good few months down the line, so you have plenty of time to get into the game early for a discounted price.

When it comes to size, though, many players might need to make some room on their harddrives. While the download size will come in at roughly 30GB, the overall size of the files on your harddrive will be roughly 100GB, taking up a nice chunk of your harddrive in the process. Of course, for a game that’s meant to be as large as Atlas promises to be, this makes sense, as the map will have to be quite large to work with 40,000 players in one server.

We’ll have more Atlas content coming once the servers go live, so make sure you keep an eye out to see everything that you need to know to become a swashbuckling pirate in the his new and upcoming MMO.
