This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Death Stranding is now out for PlayStation 4 players to enjoy – and coming later to Steam and the Epic Games Store in Summer 2020 – and players are already diving all-in to the breakout title for Kojima Productions. It’s beautiful, if a bit heavy on the cutscenes, so some may be wondering how many episodes are in Death Stranding before partaking in this epic adventure.

How many episodes are in Death Stranding?

Death Stranding has 14 episodes total following the game’s prologue. The campaign itself is lengthy – and requires a lot walking – and will usually run players anywhere between 40-50 hours, sometimes more depending on your playstyle. Since this is a game that has a ton of side quests and exploration, it’s definitely one of those adventures you’re not going to want to rush through. This fact is made even more so by how cutscene heavy it is, which can feel less like a game to some.
