How Long Does It Take to Beat V Rising?

It takes roughly between 40 to 45 hours to complete the main story in single-player mode. Those numbers are stretched depending on the player’s pacing, whether or not they’d like to take their time or rush through the campaign. Taking the completionist route will roughly take anywhere between 70 to 80 hours. Again, this really depends on the player’s pacing and how well their run goes.

V Rising comes to PC via Steam on May 8, 2024, after leaving early access. With its arrival comes an entirely new update full of goodies to collect and enemies to beat up. Because of the new update, the expected time to beat V Rising has been moderately affected, but we’ve made an educated estimate.

In consideration of the new update arriving with V Rising’s release, these estimations might be different for everyone just due to the fact the game has changed considerably since early access. V Rising’s first major update on release brings about a lot of impactful changes and this may or may not extend or lessen the time needed to complete the story in single-player mode.

That said, unless you’re a speedrunner, we don’t think you should worry too much about setting a high score. Take the time to fully relish V Rising in its complete and glorious form as it spent a long time in development to make it this far. It would be a shame to miss anything important.
