There are a lot of resources to gather and keep track of in the new MMO New World from Amazon Games. One special resource, in particular, Azoth, is extremely important. Here is how to get Azoth in New World.
How to Get Azoth in New World
If you’re running low on Azoth you’ll need to start going out of your way to collect more of it. Since Azoth is used for a variety of different things like fast traveling, crafting, and more in New World, you’re always going to want to have an abundance of it.
The easiest way to get Azoth is to craft Iron tools and hope to roll the Azoth Extraction perk, which will give you a small bit of Azoth when you gather resource like wood, plants, and rocks. This is the most consistent way to always make sure you’re at least gaining small amounts.
However, you can also get Azoth by completing main and side quests, it’s not a ton, mostly 20 per quest, but it’s still something if you’re running low.
The final way to get Azoth is to kill mobs above level 20. Mobs above level 20 have a small chance of dropping Azoth, so it’s going to take some grinding, but it’s possible to get some off of them.
