How to complete A Scrap of Paper quest in Destiny 2
Unless the Truth Exotic Rocket Launcher quest is already bugged out more than it was when it launched, you’ll have found A Scrap of Paper in the Menagerie. Congratulations on defeating that mess of monsters! Now that you have it, you’ll need to take A Scrap of Paper to Petra Venj, whom you’ll find in the Dreaming City. Petra will translate the note for you from its Awoken script and tell you that the secrets it holds are “instructions to find an Earthmade Rocket Launcher hidden somewhere in the Prison of Elders.” That’ll be the boomstick you’re after.
Sadly before you can get your hands on Truth, slippery as it is, you’ll have to jump through a few more hoops which are outlined in our more detailed guide on unlocking the Truth rocket launcher. The short version is Petra will send you off to complete an Ascendant Challenge Bounty, and then hand over four map pieces, each requires a challenge to be completed before they reveal their locations. After that there’s only one more Strike to complete before you have a shiny new Exotic rocket! It’s great for the crucible, so Truth is worth getting.
