One of the most significant activities that players have been partaking in when it comes to Pokemon GO is battling the Team Rocket leaders who are causing trouble in the fan-favorite mobile game. One of these Team Rocket leaders is known as Cliff, and players will need to know the counters for him if they wish to have success in defeating Cliff. Pokemon GO Cliff Counters
Trainers will find that Cliff always uses a Meowth as one of his three Pokemon GO characters. However, there are six possible creatures that the Team Rocket leader can use when it comes to the other two characters on his team. Cliff’s second one can be a Snorlax, Sandslash, or Flygon. The Team Rocket leader’s third character can then be either Tyranitar, Infernape, or Torterra. As you can see, he has some fearsome characters he can use against you in battle.
However, there are plenty of counters that Pokemon GO Trainers can use to make sure they have every advantage possible when battling this particular Team Rocket leader. A team consisting of Lucario, Regice, and Swampert is strong against any lineup that Cliff can put together. Players who have these three counters should make sure to use them if they are attempting to take down Cliff.
Do not worry if you do not have all three of these characters at your disposal, as there are other characters you can use when it comes to each of the creatures he can handle. You can find these particular counters below:

- Tyranitar – Lucario, Poliwrath, Machamp, Blaziken, and Swampert
- Infernape – Lugia, Swampert, Giratina, and Mewtwo
- Torterra – Regice, Dialga, Mamoswine, and Hydreigon
