Ghost Recon Breakpoint Microtransactions are Numerous

by Nicholas Barth

Microtransactions are typical in almost every video game that is released in today’s world. Many times these purchasable items are the way developers can earn from their hard work for a free-to-play game. However, many games are full-priced and still inject a wide range of microtransactions for players to purchase. This is the case for Ghost Recon Breakpoint where players have discovered an immense amount of in-game purchases are available for players to make.

Players will find when they jump into the world of Ghost Recon Breakpoint that they can buy a wide range of items from the game’s store. These items include the likes of weapon camos, gun bundles, skill points, and much more. Community member Blinkk8704 highlighted the microtransactions currently in Ghost Recon Breakpoint in a Reddit thread on the franchise’s official subreddit.

As you can imagine, there has been plenty of players voicing their displeasure with the sheer amount of microtransactions in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. It remains to be seen if any changes will be made based on community feedback. However, for the time being, there is plenty to buy if you are looking to unload some extra cash in the new game. There is no denying you will be able to create a compelling character for use against Cole D. Walker and his Wolves with the items available in the game’s store. It just might take the fun out of the experience of working for it, though.
