How to Beat Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss Floor 12

It’s important to note that several of the challenges in the Spiral Abyss Floor 12 are accommodating the units that will be available throughout the month. Those units are Wriothesley and Neuvillette. With that in mind, players can have a clue as to what kinds of elements should be taken to the upper and lower halves of Floor 12.

The upper half of Floor 12 will have enemies that fit single-target Cryo damage. So Freeze compositions alongside Melt, Reverse Melt, and Spread compositions can shine in this part of the abyss. Meanwhile, the bottom half will feature more AoE Hydro-oriented stuff so bringing a Vaporize, Bloom, and Hyperbloom composition will help more in this case.

Chamber 1 Upper Half

Let’s not waste any time and start digging through the halls of the twelfth floor of the Abyss. The first challenge for Travelers is the Millennial Pearl Seahorse. If you’re having trouble beating it, check out our guide on how to beat the Millennial Pearl Seahorse. A few additional things to note are that the Seahorse will have a detonation attack when it reconstructs its pearl that can be easily avoided with a well-timed dash or using the invincibility frames of the Elemental Burst.

Chamber 1 Lower Half

Neuvillette and other characters with huge AoE attacks shine in this half of the first Chamber as a huge horde of Rift wolves appears to fill your screen with funny numbers. You should watch the health of your characters as you take down each of the monsters since Corrosion damage can hurt your characters while they are on standby. Once you defeat the rift wolves, you have to take on three Pyro Abyss mages who should all group up pretty easily if you run to a corner.

Chamber 2 Upper Half

The enemies in the upper half of the Spiral Abyss Floor 12 aren’t as threatening as the forces in the first Chamber. One of the most noteworthy enemies in this half is the construction Clockwork Meka. It has plenty of HP and also hits like a truck if you allow it to move too much. A good grouping unit like Kazuha should have no issues pooling everyone together for damage.

Chamber 2 Lower Half

This is another fight against the Icewind Suite. However, this fight is against the more offensive version of the fight known as the Dirge of Coppelia which doesn’t have elemental shields attached. Focused attacks and avoiding the Swirl attacks from the Coppelius robot will easily net you a win against this formidable foe.

Chamber 3 Upper Half

The third chamber of the twelfth floor of the Abyss features a single Fatui Mirror Maiden and two of the newly introduced Fatui Wind Operatives. The Mirror Maiden is pretty straightforward so avoiding her attacks is key to beating her. The Fatui Wind Operatives should be grouped together and frozen but it’s also worth noting that some attacks can also inflict Life Bond, preventing healing.

Chamber 3 Lower Half

The final part of this challenge is against the Experimental Field Generator. If you read our guide on it, you’d know that the generator is weak against Pneuma-aligned attacks. As such, bringing a unit like Neuvillette or Lyney can help turn off its most prominent attack which is its Ripple attack. If you instead feel like you can tank it, you can also opt to take the hits while healing yourself.

Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation, mobile devices, and PC. If you want to read about one of the characters that recently got released, check out our guide on how to play as Neuvillette.
