Fast Travel can be extremely useful in Forza Horizon 5, though unlocking it can be a pain as can using it if you have to spend credits to do so. Fortunately, there are two ways you can fast travel for free, and we’re going to tell you all about them in this guide!
Forza Horizon 5 | How To Fast Travel For Free
The quickest and easiest way to Fast Travel for free in Forza Horizon 5 is by traveling to your default Home. Travel to your default Home will always be free, and will always be available to you regardless of whether you’ve unlocked general Fast Travel or not.
Note that you can only have one Home selected as your default. If you own multiple homes, it can be worth it to set whichever one is closest to the activities you need to complete as your default. That way you can always return back to that area for free.
If you’re struggling to unlock general Fast Travel in Forza Horizon 5, we have a separate guide that’ll help walk you through all the steps to unlock it. Essentially, you’ll need to save up 2 million credits in order to purchase the Buenas Vistas house in Forza Horizon 5.
Even after you do this though, you’ll still need to complete one last critical step in order to Fast Travel wherever you want to for free… smashing all 50 Fast Travel Boards. You can find these Fast Travel Boards on your map represented by little lightning bolt symbols (as seen in the image above).
To make it easier to spot them, you can hit the right bumper when viewing the map to filter things out of your map. If you deselect “All” then scroll down and reselect “Bonus Boards” you’ll be able to only see XP and Fast Travel Boards on your map.
Once you’ve found and smashed all 50 Fast Travel Boards in Forza Horizon 5, Fast Travel will be completely free! Additionally, the more Fast Travel Boards you smash in Forza Horizon 5, the cheaper Fast Travel will become, so it’s worth it to find and smash as many as you can.
To recap, you can Fast Travel for free in Forza Horizon 5 by returning to your default Home, and by finding and smashing all 50 Fast Travel Boards.
