One of the Week 13 Challenges in Fortnite asks you to scan a server at a Surface Hub. When looking at this task, it’s easy to get confused when it comes to what a server is in reference to, and where to find a Surface Hub.
To help make things easier, we’ve put together a quick guide on how to scan a server at a Surface Hub in Fortnite!
Fortnite Week 13 Challenges | Scan a Server at a Surface Hub
The first step when it comes to scanning a server at a Surface Hub in Fortnite is knowing where to find a Surface Hub. In the map image above, we’ve circled the best possible location to visit when it comes to completing this Week 13 Challenge.
At the southern edge of Hunter’s Haven, you’ll find a small building that you can enter with stairs descending all the way down. Enter this area and make your way to the bottom, collecting weapons and supplies as you go.
When you reach the bottom area you’ll see two balconies, a room you can enter with a bookshelf, and an elevator that you can’t use. In this area, you’ll also find a server.
For some, the server is located in the small room with the bookshelf (where you can also sometimes find a Chest). For others including ourselves, the server was located in one of the two balcony areas.
In the image below, we’ll show you exactly what a server looks like so you know what to look for.
When you approach the server, you’ll need to interact with it to “Hack” it and in doing so, you’ll complete the task of scanning a server at a Surface Hub.
While you’re in the Hunter’s Haven area, there are other Week 13 Challenges you can complete including throwing fruit, dealing damage, and dealing pistol damage if you manage to pick one up.
