Fortnite: How to Get the Bhangra Boogie Emote

Epic and OnePlus have partnered up to give customers the Bhangra Boogie emote for free. Here's how to get your emote.

Epic and OnePlus have partnered up to give away the Fortnite Bhangra Boogie emote to select OnePlus customers. If you’re interested in getting the emote in-game, you’ll need to be a OnePlus customer and meet a few specific criteria. If you think you might be eligible, in this guide we are going to explain how to get the Bhangra Boogie emote in Fortnite.

Fortnite Bhangra Boogie Emote – How to Get

Epic is no stranger to cell phone promotional deals and this time around its partnering with OnePlus to help promote the release of the OnePlus 8. With the deal, eligible customers can get the Bhangra Boogie emote in Fortnite for free by entering a special code on the official Fortnite website. Luckily you don’t have to own the OnePlus 8 to be eligible for the emote, but you do need to own one of the phones in the list below:

  • OnePlus 3/3T
  • OnePlus 5/5T
  • OnePlus 6/6T/6T McLaren
  • OnePlus 7/7 Pro/7 Pro 5G/7T/7T Pro/7T Pro 5G McLaren
  • OnePlus 8/8 Pro/8 5G (T-Mobile)/8 5G UW (Verizon)

If you own one of the phones listed above, then you’ll be able to get the Bhangra Boogie emote! Simply head to the OnePlus website and enter your IMEI and PCBA number while signed in to your account. You can find your IMEI number by dialing *#06# and your PCBA number by dialing *#888#. After entering the numbers, you should find an email with a code that you can redeem on the Fortnite website to receive your in-game Bhangra Boogie emote. 

If you aren’t eligible for the emote, there is still a chance that you can get it, but you’ll have to wait a bit. Since there is no mention of it being an exclusive OnePlus emote, it seems likely that it will come to the Item Shop at some point once the promotion is over. Unfortunately, it probably won’t be free, but it will be cheaper than buying a new phone! So if you’re interested in the emote but don’t meet the criteria above, your best bet is to simply wait it out.

While you’re waiting for the promo to end, there are plenty of challenges that players can complete in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 3 to work their way through the Battle Pass. Further, players can unlock a season exclusive Aquaman skin by completing a handful of individual challenges.
