Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Visit an Abductor

The first step when it comes to visiting an Abductor in Fortnite is knowing what an Abductor is. In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, Abductors are a type of special flying saucer (seen above) that’s able to abduct players and transport them to the Mothership.

Abductors appear over named locations in a randomized fashion. When they’re hovering over a named location, you’ll be able to see them on your Fortnite map as a little circular saucer icon. You’ll also be able to see them from below when dropping from the Battle Bus.

Now that you know where they are and how to find them, your next order of business is to visit one. The easiest way to visit an Abductor is to simply land on top of one after exiting the Battle Bus. However, shortly after the release of the Week 10 Challenges in Fortnite, a glitch was discovered involving Abductors.

As a result, Epic Games temporarily disabled Abductors, meaning you won’t see them anywhere in the game. Abductors are still disabled as of the time of this writing (August 17), but don’t worry this is actually good news as players with the “Visit an Abductor” task won’t have to worry about actually completing it.

According to the official Fortnite Status account on Twitter, the Quest “Visit an Abductor” should be auto-completed for players. You won’t need to do anything to complete this one given the Abductors glitch, so if you’re reading this as of August 17, this Quest should be marked off for you automatically.

If you’re looking for Abductors during a time when they’re not disabled, they’re found over named locations in Fortnite. The circular saucers will be visible to players viewing their Fortnite map and should be visible when dropping out of the Battle Bus. The easiest way to visit an Abductor is to land on top of one.
