The arrival of new content always brings out the excitement in the Fortnite Battle Royale community. This excitement will be front and center when the second season of Chapter 2 begins on Thursday, February 20th. Epic Games will be adding a variety of new content, with much of it likely to be in the form of significant changes to the title's map. A series of teasers from the official Twitter account of the game suggest that the second season of the title's second chapter will be bringing some unique changes to the map. Fortunately, we have all of the currently known information about these particular map changes covered for you.

Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2 Map Changes

We will update this piece with all of the official changes to the environment of the popular game and an image of the new map when they are first made available. 

New locations were added in the form of the Shark, the Rig, the Agency, and the Grotto and the Yacht. 

Now, the appearance of gold-covered items across the island recently has the community theorizing that a large portion of the map changes could consist of areas being covered in gold or perhaps even a whole new section of the island being focused on the valuable metal. A recent teaser image shows what possibly is a missile or torpedo, which could be the weapon that causes significant destruction and starts a chain reaction of change for the second season of the game's second chapter.

There is no doubt that there will be a vast number of players excitedly exploring all of the change made to the famous game's island when Thursday, February 20th, arrives this week.
