There are a total of six weapons that players can get for Tifa in the Final Fantasy VII Remake. These weapons can be added to the inventory of Tifa throughout the game in various means. These means include defeating certain bosses or finding them hidden in chests.

Leather Gloves

She gets these gloves at the beginning of the game, so players do not need to worry about completing a specific mission or finding the Leather Gloves. Divekick is the proficiency for the Leather Gloves and allows Tifa to deliver a powerful kick in the air towards an enemy. The Leather Gloves allow Tifa to be useful in a variety of ways for a battle, which means that players looking to have Tifa be an all-round fighter will be wise to use them. 

Metal Knuckles

These metal knuckles are a reward for defeating the Crab Warden boss in Chapter 5. Overpower is the proficiency for this weapon and allows Tifa to pressure enemies to a higher degree. Individuals who would like her to dish out high levels of damage will like the Metal Knuckles. However, you will sacrifice this high attack power for lower defenses, which means she will be vulnerable to taking large amounts of damage. 

Sonic Strikers

The Sonic Strikers are located in a purple chest in Chapter 7. You will find this purple chest in the corridors that connect the engineering labs. Players will find that the proficiency for the Sonic Strikers is called Focused Strike. This attack allows you to evade an attack and then counter with a charging attack against your enemy. This weapon focuses a large amount on magic, so players who would like Tifa to utilize magic in their party will be happy when they use the Sonic Strikers.

Feathered Gloves

These feathered gloves are found in a chest in Chapter 10. It is located ahead of where you can crawl under the first gate in the sewers. Starshower is the proficiency that unleashes an array of powerful attacks. It also increases the power of your next command. Variety is the spice of life when it comes to the Feathered Gloves, thanks to their ability to allow Tifa to fill several different roles in your party. 

Mythril Claws

This item is a reward for defeating the Appendage boss in Chapter 13 of the title. You will find that the proficiency for the Mythril Claws which creates an orb of chi that dishes out damage when it makes contact with an enemy. The Mythril Claws allow Tifa to become a beneficial magic user that takes advantage of her speed, which means players who use this weapon will be a speedy magic dealer that can take on any enemy. 

Purple Pain

The Purple Pain is found in a chest located in Chapter 16. Go around the first ladder you come across during the platforming section. Cross over to where the chest is by using the bars that are hanging around you. True Strike is the proficiency for the Purple Pain and delivers a potent close-range attack that increases your stagger damage bonus. Critical hits are the name of the game for the Purple Pain, as it has plenty of upgrades that will allow Tifa to deal out a vast amount of critical hit damage.
